2005 Tsunami Hope walks


Worcester information

In November 2000 the city of Worcester suffered its worst floods since 1947 when the River Severn rose 5.4 metres above normal level and spilled over into the town centre. Despite preventive measures, Worcester has had further flooding since then.

Boscastle information

Picturesque Boscastle suffered a devastating flash flood on 16th August 2004 when a 3 metre wall of water smashed through the village after unusually heavy rainfall. Remarkably no lives were lost, though the damage was severe.
